A body of a man was found dead by witnesses on July 17th in Andy Livingstone Park, in Vancouver.
The victim has only been identified only as a 44-year-old who had recently arrived in Vancouver.
Minutes after the discovery of the body, witnesses saw a man, Matthew Brenner, 26, running from the area. Police caught Brenner who has since been charged with second degree murder
Vancouver Police were called to the house with reports of a violent confrontation. Police advised the family that Gang Yuan’s body was cut into 100 pieces.

Zhao was arrested after the discovery of Yuan’s dismembered body on May 2.
A 57 year old man was found unconscious, suffering from a serious head injury in east Vancouver parking lot on April 3rd.
The man was rushed to hospital where he later died
The cause of the injury is unknown at this time, no arrests have been made.
Two men were found inside a hotel with stab wounds. A 24-year-old man died at the scene while a 37-year-old man was rushed to hospital where he later died on March 15th. The VPD’s Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Unit are investigating.
The motive for the double stabbing is unknown, according to VPD Sgt. Randy Fincham, who said a suspect has not been identified.
Both victims are known to police.
However there names have been released.
Vladimir Shevalev, 81, believed to have died of natural causes in his Coal Harbour home on Mar. 1, 2015, but some concerns led police to an investigation.
19 Alexander Konstanovich Shevalev the son of Vladimir was arrested and charged with manslaughter on June 10.

A 49-year-old man with an extensive criminal record has been killed on the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver, marking the city’s second homicide of the year.
Around 4 a.m. on Wednesday Feb 11th, Lorne Melting-Tallow was found unresponsive and bleeding on the sidewalk on Hastings near Columbia Street. Melting-Tallow was taken to the hospital but later died.
VPD Constable Brian Montague says it’s unclear how long the man may have been there.
The cause of death is not being revealed.
Roxanne Louie, who moved to Vancouver from Oliver, was visiting the south Okanagan for the holidays. A family member reported her missing after she missed her flight from Penticton back to Vancouver, said RCMP in a news release.
Louie, 26, was last seen leaving her mother-in-law’s home early on Jan. 4 on her way to meet some unknown friends.
Police confirmed Monday Jan. 12th that Grace Elinor Robotti, 65, has been charged with second-degree murder, and her brother, Pier Louis Robotti, 63, has been charged with being an accessory to murder and interfering with human remains.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested after a body was found in a home in East Vancouver on Jan 6. Kenneth Conrad Izzard has been charged with manslaughter after Jeffery Scott Nasa-Dyke was found dead inside his apartment near Triumph and Nanaimo Streets.
Update: What was believed to be the first homicide in Vancouver in 2015 has now been proven otherwise. Nasa-Dyke was last seen eight weeks ago on Nov. 13, and reported missing to the Vancouver Police on Nov. 19. His body was found in a decomposed state, and police believe he may have been moved several times before ending up in Izzard’s apartment.
“The death occurred about eight weeks ago. We don’t think the body has necessarily been there the whole time. It would suggest multiple crime scenes,” says Vancouver Cst. Brian Montague.
