Police have identified the man that was shot dead outside in the Kingston Road and Ellesmere area October 1st as Clinton Yow Foo. Yow Foo was for steps away from his parents home where he was staying.
Yow Foo had been shot and was declared dead at the scene.
Toronto police are investigating after a man was found dead on a Kingston Road driveway on Thursday morning.
Yow Foo was known to police. He was one of several people arrested in 2009, in which Durham regional police seized around three million worth of drugs, homes, cars and cash.
On April 19th Toronto Police updated the public on the Yow Foo homicide case.
The autopsy of Yow Foo has shown the he was killed by a single shot from a high powered rifle, from a distance away.
Police told reporters that investigators had located a browning BLR short magnum rifle approximately 200 yards away from the crime scene. The rifle had a Bushnell Legend High Definition scope and a Champion 13 by 22 inch bipod. Toronto police are asking for the public to help catch the sniper.

Police received a call on April 9th at around 10 a.m about a fire in Northwood Park in Toronto.
Officers arrived to find a body of a man in the fire pit. Investigators are focusing on trying to identify the man.
Police believe the homicide was targeted and the body was burned to conceal his identity.
Toronto police have identified the man found dead in a North York fire pit through DNA testing as Julio Cesar Soto 29.

Police received calls about the sound of gunshots around 1:30 a.m on April 17th coming from a moving vehicle. When police arrived they found the victim, 20 year old Abdullah Farah, without vital signs between two cars in front of 1530 Danforth Ave.
Farah was rushed to Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
1530 Danforth Ave is the home Cloud 9 cafe, a cafe that has had it’s share of violence in the past.
2013, a Markham firefighter died after he was stabbed repeatedly in the face. The cafe was under the name of Rotana Café at that time.
2015, Abdiweli Mohamed Yusuf was gunned down in the doorway of the Rotana Café.

Toronto police officers we dispatched on reports of a shooting on April 14th at around 8pm at Yonge and Dundas square in Toronto. When they arrived, they found the wounded male victim unresponsive in front of a coffee shop.
Gabriel Nikov 18, was rushed to a local trauma centre and was pronounced dead later that night.
Police said that this was a targeted attack, and are looking for three suspects. Three white males, one wearing a white jacket, the second man wore a baby blue jacket and the third had on a black jacket.
Bradley Cheveldayoff, 22, was arrested April 17th and charged with second-degree murder.
Toronto Police were called to the scene on Vanevery Street near Royal York Road and Lake Shore Boulevard on reports of a shooting.
Police arrived to find Daniel John Lypka 28, who had been shot at close-range in a parking lot of a building at around 2:45am April 14th. Lypka was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Tre Williams Robert Stevens, 21, a long time friend of Lypka, was arrested around 4pm on April 15th and is facing charges of second degree murder. Police said a suspect in the shooting was identified by information provided by community members.
Police were called to a Shell gas station on reports of gunshots at around 2am on April 2nd.
Julian Weekes 27 was found by Toronto police in a pool of his blood at the Shell gas station at Richmond and Parliament. Paramedics were unable to save Weeks life and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe the shooting took place a few blocks away near Queen and Parliament.
Police said Weekes was attending a memorial celebration at Annie’s Bar for his friend Ceyon Carrington who died March 23 as a result of gun violence.

Update May 3
Michael Teddy Gibson, 30, was arrested on May 3 2017 in Aruba. According to police, Gibson was wanted for another murder in Aruba as well as the murder of Julian Weekes.
Police were called to reports of gunshots on Carlaw Ave north of Queen Street, at around 10pm, March 23. On arrival police found Ceyon Carrington 29, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Carrington was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.
No suspects have been named at this time, however police described the suspect as Male wearing dark coloured clothing.

Carrington was one of two men that spent 5 months in jail in 2015, on charges 2014 death of Tarik Mohammed at Garden Restaurant. Both men were released on no reasonable grounds for conviction.
Michelle Campbell 43 has been charged with second degree murder after police allege she intentionally ran down her mother in a furniture store parking lot and then fled the scene.
On March 22, Eleanor Campbell 65, was fatally hit by her daughters vehicle in a Toronto Leon’s parking lot just moments after she stepped out of the vehicle with her walker.
Police say Eleanor Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Josiah Haye 20, has been identified as the victim of the fatal Scarborough shooting that happened on March 20th at around 6:30 pm.
Police responded to a call of shots fired on Glendower Circuit in Scarborough. On arrival they found Haye suffering from a gunshot wound. Haye was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police started the investigation in the early evening of March 20th after two men alerted police a that a murder had taken place at a Thornhill home.
Police removed several body bags from the house. Police said there was only one victim, however multiple body bags were used because the body was dismembered.
Neighbors said the house was under construction and nobody lived at the residence.
Peizheng Qui 28 was taken into custody and has been charged with first degree murder and indecent interference with a dead body.
The name of the victim will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
