Jordan Ballantyne found dead in Prince Albert

Prince Albert police said Jordan Ballantyne was located in a yard near the intersection of 6th Ave and 20th St East on July 13th,  just after 9 pm.

An autopsy was conducted and revealed the death of Ballantyne was a homicide. No arrests have been made at this time.

Crystal Louise McFadyen found dead following a house fire

Saskatoon police are investigating after Saskatoon Fire Department located a deceased body while responding to a fire on July 6th at a home in the 200 block of Avenue F North.

Police have identified the deceased as 37 year old Crystal Louise McFadyen. Police said McFadyen was 8 months pregnant at the time of her death. Police have not released the cause of death at this time.

McFadyen had been reported missing by her family on July 5, 2018. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Prince Albert’s first homicide of 2018

Prince Albert police and paramedics responded to report of a shooting in an alley in the 200-block of 9th Street East on June 28th.

Police located the 28-year-old Tyrell Bird, who had been shot in the face. The man was taken to hospital for treatment where he died from his injuries on July 3rd.

Police said they have identified several suspects and said that they believe the shooting was targeted.

Man found dead in his Shellbrook Home. RCMP investigating the death as a homicide.

RCMP said Lindsay Arthur Voyer, 31, was found dead in his home in the the 300 block of 4th Ave on June 30th.

The cause of death has not been released, however RCMP are investigating the death as a homicide.

Police ask that anyone who may have seen a dirty dark green vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus, travelling in the Fourth Ave. E area of Shellbrook to contact them.

Brandy Robillard found dead in Black Lake

Black Lake RCMP were called to the area medical clinic,  on June  10th at approximately 5:30pm on report of a sudden death.

Police said the autopsy of Brandy Robillard, 24, revealed her death to be a homicide. The cause of death has net been made public at this time.

A 31-year-old man from Black Lake has been charged with Second Degree murder in relation to the death of Robillard.

Brennan Ahenakew found dead in a burnt out car in Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation

Shellbrook RCMP detachment received a complaint of a burning vehicle on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation on May 10th at approximately 10:12am.

Brennan Ahenakew, 20, was reported missing to RCMP Thursday May 10th at 5:00pm by his parents. Ahenakew was last seen in the evening of Wednesday May 9th.

Police said the remains that were found in the vehicle were identified as Brennan Ahenakew.

Cause of death has not been released at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

Suspicious Death in Midale Confirmed Murder Suicide by RCMP

RCMP said the deaths of the two persons at a business in the community of Midale on April 20, 2018 has been deemed a murder suicide.

The investigation revealed that the victim, Mary Lou Clauson,61, of Midale, SK was killed by Patrick NG,74, of Midale. Mary Lou Clauson had been an employee at the business owned by NG.

The cause of death wil not be released at this time. RCMP will not be providing any further updates.

Colin Sutherland found dead in Saskatoon home. 30 year old woman charged

Patrol members responded to an injured male in an apartment in the 200 block 5th Avenue North at approximately 11:30 pm April 1st.

Police arrived to find Colin Sutherland, 54, of Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation deceased. Sheritta Kahpeaysewat, 30, has been charged with second degree murder.

Police said the victim and the accused were known to each-other.

White Butte RCMP investigating a sudden death near Regina as a homicide

White Butte RCMP and Major Crime Unit South are investigating after the body of a man was found in the area of Highway 6, northeast of Regina on March 19th.

Police are saying that the sudden death is now being treated as a homicide. Police are still trying to confirm the identity of the victim.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity that day from midnight to 11am at Township Road 184 to the Fleet Street intersection, or anyone who may have traveled that road during those times to contact them at  306-781-5050 or 310-RCMP.
