Keri Smith and Terrence Peter Smith found dead in Richmond double homicide

Richmond RCMP were called to a a home on Eckersley Road just after 2:30 a.m, April 30th, on reports of gunfire.

Police arrived to find the bodies of Keri Smith, 36, and Terrence Peter Smith, 37. Police said the pair were known to police, and they believe the homicide was targeted.

The IHIT has net released any other information at this time. More information will be added as it becomes available.

Richmond RCMP investigating the death of an elderly man

Richmond RCMP responded to a report of a man in the water in the area of the 7000 block of Dyke Rd on March 10th at approximately 8:00am.

The man who was believed to be in his 70’s was rushed to hospital where he died if his injuries. Police have not released the cause of death at this time, they have said the death has been deemed  suspicious.

Richmond Serious Crimes Unit said the circumstances surrounding his death are  suspicious. Corporal Dennis Hwang said “Investigators will be continuing their examination of area around the 7000 block of Dyke Rd for any clues surrounding this incident”

Ibrahim Amjad Ibrahim Found dead in Garden City Park

Police were called to the area of Garden City Road and Granville Avenue just after 4:15 am on October 10th on report of a dead body.

The body was identified as Ibrahim Amjad Ibrahim, of Surrey 30. Ibrahim was known to police.

Joseph Lucien De Carvalho dead in Richmond’s latest homicide

Richmond RCMP was called to the 7500 block of Bridge Street on report of a possible shooting on September 18th at approximately 3:00am.

Police located an adult male suffering from life threatening injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

The IHIT has identified the victim as 41 year old Joseph Lucien De Carvalho

Jasdeep Singh Klair shot to death inside his vehicle

Jasdeep Singh Klair 24,  was found unresponsive after a BMW crashed into bushes in the ares of Granville Avenue and Ledway Road in Richmond on May 14th at approximately 2pm.

Police said that Klair was shot, and that they did not receive any calls of a shooting in the area. Sgt. Jennifer Pound said Klair was known to police and the shooting is believed to be targeted.

Less than an hour after the shooting police located the suspect’s vehicle, a 2010 Kia Forte that was reported stolen in Surrey in March of this year.

Allen Skedden found dead by the shores of the Fraser River

Richmond police responded to a report of a deceased male  in the afternoon of March 2nd, just before 1:00pm in the 22,000 block of Fraserwood Way.

Police arrived to find 52 year old Allen Skedden dead. Due to the suspicious nature of the death Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) taken conduct of the investigation.

Police said Skedden was reported missing on February 21st.

Update: Police investigate a fatal stabbing in Richmond BC

Police were called to the Richmond General Hospital after a 22 year old man was found in the parking lot suffering from stab wounds on Friday January 27th just before midnight.

The man was then transported to Vancouver General Hospital for treatment, however died from his injuries shortly after arrival.

Police are not releasing the victim’s name until his next of kin has been notified.

Update January 31
The victim has been identified as Francis Le 24 of Surrey BC.
