Ottawa Police said they received a call on July 23 at around 4:45 in the afternoon reporting a shooting in west Ottawa however, Police arrived to find Jeremy Mack 36, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Mack was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police have made an arrest but have not released the suspects name.
Police were called to a building at 292 St. Andrew Street, on reports of a shooting just before 4 a.m on July 10th. Police arrived to fine Tarique Leger, 19, of Montreal severely injured. He was used to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not named any suspects at this time. Leger’s death is the 9th Ottawa homicide of 2016.
Mohamed Ali Hassan 19 was stabbed in Lawson park at around 9:30 pm on February 22. Police said Hassan was transported to hospital and died shortly after. Hassan had been stabbed about 18 times, police say.
Michael Leblanc 26, has been charged with second degree murder.
On January 31, Police were called to a shooting at the Shifa Restaurant, at around 5:30 p.m. Marwan Arab, 20 has been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was suffering from a serious gunshot wound to the chest but is expected to survive.
Police do not have a description of a suspect. No arrests have been made at this time.
