Antonio Sergi shot dead outside his home

Toronto police were called to La Rush Drive on report of a shooting. Police and EMT’s arrived to find Antonio Sergi, 53, unresponsive outside of the home.

Sergi was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was scheduled for April 1st.

Police said there were reports of a person 6′ in stature and average build seen fleeing the scene in a dark hooded sweater. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-2300.

Domenic Triumbari shot to death outside of a Vaughan Social club

York Regional Police responded to reports of a shooting in a parking lot of Club Cosenza a private social club on March 31st at around 8:30pm.

Police located 55 year old Domenic Triumbari, suffering from gunshot wounds. Triumbari died at the scene.

Video surveillance captured the suspect shooting the victim, before fleeing in the passenger seat of a light coloured Honda Civic.

The death of Domenic Triumbari is the third Vaughan homicide this month. The other victims this month are Mila Barberi and Laquan Lyew.

Laquan Lyew shot to death in Vaughan

York Regional Police responded to what appeared to be an accident on March 23, 2017, at approximately 1:30 am in the HWY 7 & Jane Street area.

Police arrived to find a BMW crashed into a pole, inside they found 26 year old Laquan Lyew of Ajax. Police further noticed that Lyew was suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Cheryl McVarish found dead on her driveway

Peel Regional Policehave declared the death of Cheryl McVarish on March 20th a homicide.

On March 20th at around just after 9:00am Mississauga police responded to a medial assistance call on Westmount Avenue. Police found 43 year old Cheryl McVarish deceased outside of the home.

The cause of death has not been released.

Mohamed Abdulkadir Ali, Toronto’s 13th homicide of 2017

Toronto police responded to reports of gunshots on March 18th at around 9pm in the area of Meighen Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue.

Mohamed Abdilkadir Ali 28, was found injured at the scene and was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

Police have not named any suspects at this time.

William Green charged with murder in Windsor’s second homicide of 2017

Windsor police responded to report of a shooting on Elsmere Avenue just after 12:00am on March 18th. Police found a 59 year old man suffering from a serious gunshot wound.

The man was transported to hospital where he died of his injuries.

William Green 53 was arrested at the scene and is facing a first degree murder charge in the death of the man.

This is the second Windsor homicide of 2017.  Windsor’s first homicide of 2017 was Dallas Nelson.

Dana Camber died from a single gunshot wound

Barrie Police received a report of gunshots on March 14th at 2:40am in an apartment building, located at 101 Kozlov Street.

Police arrived to find Dana Camber 50, unresponsive and suffering from a significant wound. Camber was sent to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Autopsy reports revealed that Dana Camber died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Mila Barberi shot to death in broad daylight

York Regional Police responded to reports of a shooting on March 14th at approximately 4:12 pm, on Castor Ave. Two victims were located at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were rushed to hospital where the woman, 28 year old Mila Barberi was pronounced dead.  The 40 year old man who will not be identified had minor injuries and is expected to survive.

Police have released a description of the suspect:
– Male
– Approximately 6’2″ & 250lbs
– Dark jacket
– Covered face driving a dark coloured Jeep Grand Cherokee

Dylan Greenaway dies of a gunshot wound in the parking lot of a Toronto School

Toronto police responded to a medical distress call on Thursday March 16th at around 7am in the parking lot of Alvin Curling Public School.

Police arrived to find Dylan Greenaway, 21, of Toronto suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Toronto District School Board says no students were at the school during this incident because of March break.

Dr. Ferdinand Mejilla shot to death at his Burlington practice

Halton police responded to a call at the Mejilla Chiropractic Clinic in Burlington on March 16th after report of a shooting at around 12:05pm.

Police located the victims, Fred (Ferdinand) Mejilla 50 suffering from a gunshot wound, and David Williamson 44 suffering from a self inflicted gunshot wound. The pair were rushed to hospital where Mejilla died of his injuries.

Update March 23

David Williamson, a former patient of Mejilla and husband to an employee of the Mejilla Chiropractic Clinic died in hospital from a self inflicted gunshot wound on Monday March 20th.

Police have not released any motive for the shooting at this time.

The death of Dr. Mejilla is the first Burlington homicide in 518 days. The previous homicide was Wesley Nagel, who was murdered by his son on October 15th 2015.
