Ottawa police responded to the Queensway Carleton Hospital on July 24th at approximately 7 am on report of a man with a gunshot wound. That man remains in hospital in stable condition.
Shortly after that report police responded to the area of Elmhurst Park in the city’s west end. Police arrived to find Abdulrahman Al-Shammari, 26, deceased. Al-Shammari died of a a gunshot wound.
At approximately noon, police received a report of an abandoned vehicle located in the city’s west end. On arrival police located the vehicle, with a deceased male inside. The victim was identified as Dirie Olol, 27. Police said Olol also died of a gunshot wound.

Update July 26
Ottawa police have issued a Canada wide warrant for Alam Gabriel Buoc (pictured below) in relation to the homicides of Abdurahman Al-Shammari and Dirie Olol. Buoc is wanted on two charges of First-degree murder, and one of Attempted murder.
Buoc is described as lack male, 6’4” (193cm), 201 lbs (91 kg), thin build, with short black hair.

Update July 28
Alam Gabriel BUOC, 30 of Ottawa, has been arrested. Police said that Buoc was arrested in the late evening of Thursday July 27th. Buoc if facing two charges of first-degree murder and one of attempted murder.
Peel Regional Police responded to report of a female body found in a greenbelt area of Castlemore Road and Humber West Parkway in Brampton on July 21st at 2:36pm.
Police arrived to the scene to find the woman, who has since been positively identified as Kara Clark 28. Clark had been reported missing a few days prior to her discovery. The cause of death has not been released at this time.
The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205.
Police were called to the Belle River community in Lakeshore Ontario on July 13th at approximately 9:50pm on report of an altercation.
Police arrived at the scene in the area of Cooper Crescent and Lenore Street to find 18 year old Marcus Pierce suffering from a serious injury, as well as a 14 year old and 17 year old suffering from minor injuries.
Pierce was rushed to hospital where he died of a stab wound. A 17 year old male has been arrested and is facing a charges of second-degree murder and two counts of assault causing bodily harm.
Douglas Hill, 48, has not been seen since the morning of June 24, and police say he was murdered, though police have yet to locate the body.
A 17 year old girl was arrested on July 12th, and is facing a charge of second degree murder. A 35 year old woman from Brantford has also been charged on one count of being an accessory to murder after the fact.
Police are asking for help from the public in locating Douglas Hill of Brantford. Hill has been described as follows:
– 5’5″ 167 lbs
– Long Dark Hair
– Thin Build
– A tattoo of a feather on his right cheek
Update: Police say four people are facing charges in the disapparance of Douglas Hill. Holly Martin, 35, of Brantford, and Lori Anne Staats, 24, of Six Nations are facing accessory after the fact charges. A 17 year old female is facing a second degree murder charge. Most recently Nicholas Joel Shipman, 34, of Ohsweken was arrested August 1st and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Thunder Bay police were called to a home at 248 Carl Avenue on July 2nd where they found the bodies of two people. Evidence at the scene lead investigators to believe the suspicious death was a homicide.
Robert Lloyd Gray, age 50 of Thunder Bay Ontario , formally from Mishkeegogammang Ontario and Kory Lee Campbell , age 22 of Thunder Bay Ontario and Cat Lake Ontario. The cause of death has not been released at this time.
Garnet Loon, 41, and Kailee Loon 19 both of Thunder Bay were arrested in Sioux Lookout, and both charged with second degree murder.
