Digby RCMP were called to a Weymouth North home on report of a deceased woman at around 3pm on September 1. Police found Lynda Anne Comeau 63, dead in her home, and deemed the death as suspicious.
The Autopsy confirmed that the death of Comeau was a homicide. Police are not releasing the cause of death at this time.

A 48 year old man in Dartmouth called in to police to report that he had been shot on September 1st.
Police arrived at the scene behind John MacNeil Elementary School at around 2:50am. Police found the man in serious condition, he was then rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Tylor McInnis 26, was found dead in the trunk of a stolen car that was abandoned in a North Preston Cemetery on August 23.
Police said that the car was reported stolen at around 2 pm on August 23, and found in St. Thomas Baptist Church cemetery a short time after.
An autopsy conducted on August 24th proved the death of McInnis to be a homicide, however police are not releasing the cause of death at this time.

Four people have been charged with the Murder of Tylor McInnis. Daniel Romeo Downey, 18, is facing first degree murder, robbery, extortion, kidnapping. Nicco Alexander Smith, 25, of Cole is facing charges of first degree murder, robbery, extortion . Judson Lemar Falls, 34, is facing charges of accessory after the fact. Also an un-named teenage has been charged with being an accessory after the face.
March 29th Police responded to reports of shots fired at around 5:30 a.m. They arrived to find Joseph Cameron 20 unresponsive, lying on the sidewalk between Spring Avenue and Mount Edward Road.
Police have not named any suspect.

Update July 8th,
Police arrested a 17 year old Nova Scotia teen in London, Ontario on July 7th. He has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Joseph Cameron.
Halifax Police were called to the scene on April 23, at about 2am on reports of gunshots. Police found Daverico Downey 20, dead at the scene.
Police said Downey had been shot but they couldn’t confirm if there was a connection between his death and the deaths of Naricho Clayton and Tyler Richards who also died this week.

Nova Scotia RCMP arrested a 33 year old woman and a 22 year old man at different addresses on September 29th. Charges have not been established at this time.
Halifax Police were called to the 2000 block of Gottingen Street at 11pm on April 19th on reports of gunfire.
On arrival police found two men in a vehicle. One man identified as Naricho Clayton, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was rushed to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Police have not named any suspects at this time.

Update December 11th 2017
Tyrell Peter Dechamp, 27, has been charged with 2 counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Tyler Richards and Naricho Clayton in Halifax. Richards and Clayton were gunned down 2 days apart.
On Saturday April 9th two men entered a home in Botwood NS. One man left unharmed, the other was fatally shot by the homeowner during the home invasion.
Police have now charged the homeowner, Gilbert Budgell 53, of Botwood with second-degree murder. Budgell has also been charged with having a firearm while prohibited from doing so.
Update October 12th 2017
Crown attorneys have decided not to proceed with a second-degree murder charge against Budgell. The charges were formally dropped on Thursday October 12th.
A popular Yoga instructor Kristin Johnson 32, was found dead in her home after Police responded to a call at around 7:45am on March 26 in Purcells Cove. Two men were at the scene of the two bedroom home, both of which lived with Johnson.
Two men were originally arrested, but police let one man go as his involvement was ruled out.
The second man arrested was transported to hospital as he required medical attention for injuries that were said to be serious but not life threatening.
Cause of death has not been released at this time.
Johnson owned 42 Degrees Fitness and Wellness on Grafton Street, in Halifax, NS
On April 11th Nicholas Butcher 33, was re-arrested after being discharged from hospital, where he was recovering from injuries sustained at the crime scene. Police have charged Butcher with second degree murder.
Police have not disclosed the relationship between Johnson and Butcher.
Officers were called to an apartment building in Spryfield at noon, on March 2, on report of an unresponsive man. Inside police found Blaine Gordon Clothier 26, dead. Police said that Clothier had died of a stab wound.
Benjamin Joshua Gillis 25, of Halifax, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
