The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary are investigating the June 7th disappearance of Courtney Lake 24, as a homicide.
Lake was last seen leaving her home on Wellington Crescent in Mount Pearl, at 7:52pm, and getting into a truck on nearby Michener Ave at 7:54pm.
Police are asking for the Public’s help in identifying the vehicle and driver. The truck in question has a camouflage “deer head “decal on the passenger side of the back (truck pan) window.
Police have released a youtube video of the suspects vehicle, and Lake entering the vehicle.

On July 24th a suspicious house fire took the life of former missionary and teacher Regula Schule 88. Police had originally said the death of Schule was suspicious and they were investigating.
On September 21 Jonathan Henoche, 30, had been charged with second degree murder in the death of Schule.
Police said that they received a 911 call reporting a 25 year old that had been abducted from his Seal Cove home at around 4:10am on July 30th. When police arrived the home was on fire.
Steven Miller was found dead on a driveway with multiple stab wounds in the Bayview Heights subdivision four hours later, and 7 km away from the Seal Cove Abduction.
Police are looking for 3 male suspects.

Paul Connolly 35, Calvin Kenny 25, and Kyle Morgan 19, are all facing charges of first degree murder, forcible confinement, arson and robbery.
A Canada wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of Chesley John Lucas 23. He is wanted for charges of first degree murder, forcible confinement, robbery and arson in the death and abduction of Steven Miller.
Marcel Reardon 46 was released from prison where he was for reportedly breaching court orders the day before his body was found.
St. John’s Police were called to an apartment on Brazil street on May 9th at around 9:30 am on reports of a body. Police arrived to discover Reardon dead, his body pushed under a back staircase of the building.
The cause of death is pending the autopsy.

28 year old Ann Norris has been charged with first degree murder in the slaying on Marcel Reardon. Police say the two were known to each other but did not elaborate on the relationship.
*Court documents state that the age of Norris is 32 , but police have listed her as 28.
Emergency crews responded to a fire in Hayden Heights on April 24th. Firefighters discovered the body of 5 year old Quinn Butt when entering the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe Trent Butt 37, killed his daughter Quinn and then set fire to his home. Firefighters rescued Trent Butt from the blaze and he is expected to survive. Butt is facing charges of first degree murder and arson.
Police were called to a home in the Labrador community of Nain NL on December 23 to check on the welfare of a 37 year old man and a 38 year old woman.
Police found the two bodies in what appears to be a suspicious death.
Police have not released the names of the victims or the cause of death at this time.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has arrested Brandon Phillips 27, who is suspected to have shot Larry Wellman who tried to intervene in an armed robbery on October 3rd in St. John’s.
Phillips, has since been charged with first degree murder in shooting death of Larry Wellman at the Captain’s Quarters Hotel.
Police were called to a home on the island of St-Pierre-Miquelon off the coast of Newfoundland July 18th.
On arrival, police found two bodies in what appeared to be a murder suicide. Police believe Cedric Yon, shot Joel Cox before turning the gun on himself.
Cedric Yon used to be in a relationship with Joel Cox daughter.
Don Dunphy, 59, was killed by the RNC officer. The RCMP confirmed that Dunphy was shot April 5th after he aimed a loaded .22-calibre rifle at the officer.
The plainclothes officer showed up alone in an unmarked car at Dunphy’s home. Police say the officer was investigating perceived threats against provincial politicians on Twitter.
A St. John’s man was stabbed to death allegedly by his co-worker on Jan 11th, 2015, inside a minivan that was transporting them both to work.
Raymond Stacey, 23, appeared in St. John’s provincial court Monday where he was charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of Clifford Comerford.
The killing has left the family questioning why anyone would hurt a man whom they described as quiet and harmless.
“My brother Cliff was just as quiet as could be, he was kindhearted, he wouldn’t hurt so much as a flea,” Winsor said.
“He was brutally, brutally assaulted and stabbed several times, and where we are even unable to see the body — it’s that bad.”
