Codiac RCMP are investigating the suspicious death of a 21 year old female. Police responded to report on July 1st at approximately 3:40pm of an unresponsive woman.
Police arrived to the scene at 401 Elmwood Drive and located the woman who was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is still in its early stages, more information will be provided as it becomes available.
Moncton Police were called to the motel on Elmwood Drive at about 2:30 pm on January 24th on report of an altercation in the parking lot.
Sgt. Mario Fortin said when police arrived the fight was over, however they found a vehicle near by that had crashed into a telephone pole. Inside the vehicle officers found a man suffering from a severe stab wound.
The man was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.
The victims was later identified as Rodney Perry 47.
Update January 27th
Jesse James Perry-Belliveau 25, of Moncton and Kimberly Cormier 45, of Moncton have both been charged with second degree murder in the death of Rodney Perry 47.
Baylee Wylie’s body was in his home in Moncton December 19th after a fire. Firefighters and RCMP deemed the death of Wylie as suspicious.
RCMP are looking for 18 year old Tyler Noel and 20 year old Marissa Shephard.
The death of Baylee Wyile continues to be under investigation.
Update November 11, 2016
Devon Morningstar 19 has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death on Baylee Wylee. Marissa Shephard and Tyler Noel are also facing charges of arson and murder, their court dates aren’t until October and May 2017
Update July 14th 2017
Tyler Noel pleaded guilty in May to second-degree murder and arson with disregard for human life in Wylie’s death. Noel was Sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 10 years, although the Crown was seeking 20-25 years before parole eligibility.
Marissa Shephard has been accused of first degree murder, she will go on trial February 2018.
