Nicholas Brophy 19, was last seen September 8 in Thompson a northern Manitoba city. Brophy’s family issued a public plea April 28th for information regarding Brophy and offered a reward $50,000 for his return.
Nicholas Brophy’s body was found April 26 just outside of Thompson.
April 30: Justin Noah Baker, 19, and Zach Edwin Linklater, 22, of Thompson, have been arrested. Both have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the teens death.
The cause of death has not been released.
Winnipeg police were called to the 100 block of Colony Street on April 25th on report of an injured man.
Police found the man with serious upper body injuries. He was rushed o hospital where he died of his injuries.
Silvia Noreen McKay, 39, Kirby James Crow, 28, Rachel Lynn Little, 32, Dennis Ashley Baptiste, 30 have been charged with manslaughter.
Christina Stoyko, 39 the woman who was found dead in her Winnipeg home on April 23 had a restraining order against the man who killed her. The pair were in a relationship however after many assaults dating back to 2013.
Kevin Klassen 37, has been charged with second degree murder. Police have not released the cause of death at this time, or the circumstances surrounding the death of Stoyko.
RCMP were called to Waywayseecappo First Nation on January 31, 2015, to help local police investigate the death of a 2 year old boy.
The boy apparently fell out of his bed while playing and bumped his head. Hours later the mother said that she found the baby unresponsive. The boy was then pronounced dead at hospital.
RCMP arrested and charged the 36 year old woman on April 5th 2016, over a year after the incident, and charged her with second degree murder in the boy’s death.
Manitoba RCMP is treating the death of Teresa Robinson as a homicide, not an animal attack. The 11 year-old Garden Hill First Nation girl’s body was discovered by community members after a search.
The girl was reported missing to police on May 11, but had disappeared after going to a birthday party in Garden Hill on May 5.
The RCMP says Teresa Casandra Robinson’s body had been “disturbed” by animals, they believe the cause of death was homicide.
After collecting voluntary DNA samples from men between the ages of 15 and 66, police have made an arrest in the murder of Teresa Robinson.
A 15 year old boy has been charged with the death of Teresa Robinson. The name of the accused has not been released.
Police were called to Allenby Cres on March 8th on report of an injured man. Police arrived to find 45 year old Frederick Bird suffering from stab wounds.
the man was rused to hospital where he died from his injuries. One person has been arrested in connection, however no charged have been laid.

Bernadette Neepin 37, has been charged with second degree murder.
Emergency crews found Henry Kipling, 43, injured on Winnipeg’s Main Street in the early morning of February 27th outside the Northern Hotel. He was transported to hospital where he died a short time after. Homicide investigators said that Kipling had died of a brain bleed after an unsuccessful surgery.
Police are looking for two suspects, a man and a woman.

Jenna Traverse, 23, was arrested March 3 and charged with aggravated assault.
Travis Chief, 23, was arrested on March 5th for his alleged involvement. No word on any charges being laid as of yet.
Emergency crews and police were called to the home on Pritchard st on February 22, on a call to check on the occupants well-being.
On arrival police found 41 year old Marilyn Rose Munroe dead. Police have not disclosed the cause of death at this time.
An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.

Police cars and a tactical units could be seen investigating at a home on Bayne Crescent, near Tu-Pelo Avenue February 20th. Police confirmed that the body found inside was that of Cooper Nemeth 17.
Bayne Cresent is one street away from where Nemeth was at a party hours before he was last seen on February 14th.
It is believed that he was first beaten and then shot.
Nicholas Bell-Wright 22, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
A homeowner who found Nemeth’s body said that he and his wife were watching television when they heard a noise outside at around 8 p.m on February 20th. When they looked outside they saw two legs sticking out of a dumpster bin and immediately called police.
Police found Mavis Ducharme, 39 in front of a home in the area of 500 block of Stella Avenue at around 5am on February 6th. Ducharme was suffering from serious injuries and was rushed to hospital where she was in critical condition, and passed away a short time after arriving.
Police said the homicide unit has been notified and is investigating.

Investigators have found out that a man and a woman, both 23 years old, forced themselves into the home of Ducharme, and attacked her and her husband.
Ducharme ran to a neighbours home but was attacked by the two people again. Police have stated that the assault was drug related. The 23 year old man has been charged with second degree murder and the 23 year old woman has been charged with manslaughter.
