Powerview RCMP were dispatched to check on the owner of a residence in Belair, on May 6th at approximately 10:00am.
Police said an 80 year old homeowner was found deceased. The vcause of death has not been revealed, however police are calling the death a homicide.

Oxford House RCMP received a report of a male who was transported to the nursing station on May 8th at approximately 7:20 am.
RCMP said the 30-year-old male victim succumbed to his injuries that were sustained from an assault with a weapon.
Margaret Chubb, 30, has been arrested and charged with second degree murder. Police said the victim and the accused were known to each-other.
Island Lake RCMP received a report of a deceased male on the side of the road in Red Sucker Lake, on April 23rd at approximately 10:00am.
Police said the deceased was a 37 year old male, who had obvious signs of trauma. The cause of death has not been released by RCMP.
Raymond Gerald Harper, 34, was arrested on April 24th, and charged with Manslaughter in regards to the homicide.
Gimli RCMP responded to a call of a deceased male inside a home in Silver Harbour MB, on April 20th at approximately 4:50am.
Officers arrived on scene, to find a 36 year old male deceased. A 29 year old male was arrested in the residence and remains in custody. According to police the victim and the suspect were known to each other. Police are not looking for other suspects.
Thompson RCMP were called to the Burntwood Hotel on report of an injured male on April 21st at approximately 1:00am.
Police arrived to find a 35 year old man with serious injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Police have not released the cause of death of the identity of the victim at this time.
RCMP said Randal Hastings of Oxford House First Nation is wanted on second-degree murder charges.
Update April 29th
Thompson RCMP have arrested Carla Wass, Warren Bradburn, Gregory Hart and Randal Hastings in connection to the death of a 35 year old man. All four are facing charges of second degree murder.
Winnipeg police and paramedics responded to a stabbing in the 500 block of Agnes Street on April 4th at approximately 7:50pm.
42 year old Gilbert Chartrand was found suffering from serious injuries. Chartrand was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Winnipeg Police homicide investigators are asking for help from the public in locating 2 suspects who are wanted in connection to the death of Chartrand.
Suspect 1 – Jerome Devon KAKAGAMIC, 24
Suspect 2 – Faron Junior HENDERSON
Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 .

Steinbach responded to a call for assistance on Parkwood Cove on March 31st at around 2pm.
Police arrived to find the dead bodies of a 54 year old man and his 25 year old son. RCMP are investigating the deaths as suspicious, however said they are not looking for any suspects.
An autopsy had been scheduled to determine the cause of death.

Thompson RCMP received a report of an assault at a residence on March 26th at approximately 10:30pm.
Police arrived to find a 51 year old female with life threatening injuries and a 39 year old male with minor injuries. The victims were taken to hospital where the woman dies of her injuries.
Conan Lewis, 21, was arrested at the scene and charged with second degree murder.
The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.
Police were called to a home in Split Lake on March 1st at approximately 5:30 am. Police found 22 year old man suffering from undisclosed injuries.
The victim died of his injuries at the scene. Officers arrested a 16 year old boy at the scene. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
Yellowhead RCMP received a report from a passerby of an unresponsive woman found in a ditch along Provincial Road 354 south of Oak River, on February 26th at approximately 8:00am.
Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported the female to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Police said the victim is a 40 year old woman but have not released her identity.
The investigation is ongoing.
