Langley RCMP were called to the area of 20150 Langley By-Pass by the Langley Fire Department on October 20th at approximately 6am on report of a deceased person.
Firefighters said that in the process of extinguishing a dumpster fire the Fire Department discovered the body of a person. The identity of the person has not been released by RCMP at this time.
Langley Serious Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.

Langley RCMP were called to 232 street and 64th Avenue on September 1st at 5:30 am on report of a shooting.
Police located two victims at the scene. 34 year old Brandy Petrie of Burnaby and 20 year old Avery Levely-Flescher of Surrey were both suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle.
Despite life saving efforts both Petrie and Levelt-Flescher were pronounced deceased at the scene.
On Tuesday September 5th Travis MacPhail was charged with two counts of second degree murder. MacPhail was also charged with possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, uttering threats and aggravated sexual assault.
Langley RCMP responded to report of shots fired at Brown’s Socialhouse at 200th St on June 9th just before midnight. Police arrived to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
The 33 year old victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, but was expected survive. 31 year old Tyler Pastuck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pastuck had served 7 years less 27 months of a manslaughter charge for his involvement in the 2010 beating death of Christopher Smythe.
Police believe the shooting death of Tyler Pastuck was targeted, no arrests have been made at this time.

Police were called to Robertson Crescent on report of human remains found on October 26 just after 7am.
Police said the injuries the man sustained were consistent with foul play, although the cause of death hasn’t been released. Police believe the death is gang related.
The name of the victim will be released after his family is notified.

Update October 28
Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) have identified the deceased as Shaun Clary 27.
Langley police responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance on October 16th ar around 10:30 am. Police located the victim, who was severely injured and identified him as Robert Green 56, of Burnaby.
Despite life saving efforts Green died at the scene. The cause of death has not been released at this time.
Police said Robert Green, is believed to be a “well-established” member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang. Police believe the attack was targeted.

Update – October 18th
Jason Francis Wallace, 27 was arrested during a road side stop in Langley and charged with the second degree murder of Green. Police said that Wallace has been linked to gangs but did not disclose his involvement.
Update – October 21
Jason Wallace was out on bail for drug trafficking charges that he faces with Green’s cousin Leonard Pelletier.
36 year old Kevin Burnelle was found dead in the Hotel that he lived in above the resturant where he worked on January 22.
On the night of January 21, Burnelle was found in the alley behind the Langley hotel suffering from an injury. Burnelle was assisted back to his room and subsequently passed away.

Wells Tony Gallagher is dead and David Christopher Van Den is in custody following a stabbing near the Baselines Pub in Langley on June 1.
Gallagher a homeless man was stabbed several times and died of his injuries. Van Den of no fixed address has been charged with second degree murder.
Randy Janzen says he killed his 19-year-old daughter Emily Janzen, because she suffered from migraines, according to a post on his social media site on May 7th.
He said that he murdered his wife, Laurel Sinclair, because “a mother should never have to hear the news her baby has died.”
He killed his sister, Shelly Janzen, he claimed, to spare her the shame of what he did.
Police found Randy Janzen dead in the Langley home.
