Kitchener Police were called to reports of gunshots Greendale Crescent, At around 930 pm on May 28th.
Police found Brandon Makins 33 shot to death outside the home. It has been said that a red Dodge Charger sped down the street, stopped and shot three times. One of the three shots hit Makins in the chest.
A 29 Kitchener man, was arrested on May 29th and is facing a first degree murder charge. His name has not been released.
Ronald McCabe 56, was found dead at the long term care facility People Care AR Goudie, on Monday, March 7th in Kitchener. Police were called to the facility around 9:30 pm after staff called about a disturbance.
Police have not released the cause of death at this time.
Adam McCabe 32 is facing a second degree murder charge. Police said the victim and the suspect were known to each other but would not disclose the relationship between the two.
OPP have taken over the homicide investigation.
Michael F. Gibbon 60, was out for a morning walk was shot with an arrow and left to die on a Kitchener front lawn. Gibbon was transported to Gran River Hospital where he later died.
Police are still searching for the man of interest.
On June 26 Dylan Darren DeBreau, 23, was fatally beaten in a Kitchener parking lot. DeBreau was air lifted to Hamilton General for treatment.
The day after the incident, DeBreau was pronounced brain dead with no hope of recovery and on July 2nd, he was removed from life support.
Edward Joseph Bush, 41, was charged on July 3rd by Waterloo Regional Police for manslaughter.
51 year old Kate Lynn Reid was last seen January 1, 2015 at her apartment in Kitchener Ontario. Last seen on January 1st 2015 near her apartment, Reid was reported missing by a relative on January 27, 2015.
March 8th, 2015 Waterloo Regional Police have charged Hugh Rayburn McColl, a 61-year-old Kitchener man who was also the victim’s ex-roommate, with second-degree murder in connection to the disappearance and presumed death of Reid.
Human remains were found Friday March 27th, 2015 behind a dumpster at the apartment where Kate Lynn Reid lived. According to police, the autopsy also provided further evidence that Reid was killed, though what caused them to believe that has not been released.
