Surinder Pal Singh got into a fight October 23, with some men who allegedly stole items from the store. Singh chased the men outside and there was a confrontation where Sing fell, hit his head and lost conciousness.
Surinder Pal Singh was transferred to hospital, but died from his injuries on October 28th.
Police are still investigating, but have not made any arrests.
Patricia Roach 54, was found dead in her north-west Edmonton home on October 24th. Police responded after Emergency Medical Services workers reported Roach’s death.
Police have declared that the manner of death is a homicide, the cause of death will not be released at this time for investigative purposes.
Police revealed January 20th that forensic evidence shows John Gearhart 37, responsible for killing Patricia Roach.
Two days before police had the forensic evidence to make the arrest, Gearhart was found dead in Spruce Grove. Police say his death was not suspicious.
Police were called in Sept 25th to the Otway’s home for assistance, on arrival they found 42-year-old Jennifer Otway dead inside the home.
38 year old Jason Otway was arrested at the Edmonton home and charged with second degree murder. The two children who were in the home were unharmed.
The cause of death has not been released.
17-year old male is facing charges in connection with the stabbing death of an 18-year old man in northeast Edmonton September 12.
The two males involved are related to each other. The 18 year old was treated and transported to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The 17-year-old male suspect has since been charged with second degree murder. The youth cannot be named and the name of the victim has not been released.
Brandon Campbell, 21, was murdered September 3rd in an accident police described as gun “play.”
Police were called to an Edmonton Apartment building by the unit’s two surviving occupants, who initially said three black men broke into their home and shot their friend.
Police prvoed the story wrong and chargeCampbell’s room-mate Dallas Edlund, 19, with manslaughter.
On August 20th the body of 51 year old Lana Cam Kasjaniuk was found outside a house in Edmonton.
Police are not releasing the cause of death at this time. The homicide unit continues to investigate.

Shawn Richard 32 died of a stab wound to the chest on August 31 in Edmonton.
Police believe that the altercation occurred somewhere around 117 Avenue, when Richard suffered a stab wound, and then was able walk on to where he finally collapsed at 95 Street at 118 Avenue.
Police have charged a 17-year-old girl, who cannot be identified, with second-degree murder of Shawn Richard.
Nadine Skow 38, was found stabbed to death in her Edmonton apartment on August 25th by coworkers after she failed to show up for work for several days.
Staff Sergeant Bill Clark says the scene was the most horrific he’s seen in his career as a police officer.
Police have charged Skow’s ex-boyfriend, Silva Koshwal with second degree murder and indignity to a human body.
Mackenzie Leah Harris’s body was found August 3rd after reports of her missing August 1st. Her body in the nearby town of Calmar.
Investigators want to talk to anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual at the park late Friday or early Saturday.
Police have not revealed any more details about the death.

After a 7 month investigation four people have been charged with second-degree murder in the slaying of Mackenzie Leah Harris.
Edmonton Police were dispatched to a home near Southgate Mall July 14th on reports of gunshots. On arrival they found Kathleen Emma Morton 27, dead of a gunshot wound in the basement apartment.
Two male olive skinned males with dark hair were seen fleeing the scene in a two-door black car.
No arrests have been made.
