Elderly couple found dead in Entwistle.

Two seniors are dead in what police believe is a murder-suicide in the Hamlet of Entwistle.

At around 1:30 p.m. on Jan 7th, Evansburg RCMP were asked to check on a woman’s elderly parents at their Entwistle home. Inside the residence, officers found the couple, both aged 73, deceased. The pair died of apparent gunshot wounds.

There was no sign of forced entry and the residence was secured from the inside, this lead police to believe this incident was a murder suicide.

The name of the couple is not being released at the family’s request.
