Brantford police and paramedics responded to an address on Nelson Street to assist with a suspected drug overdose on September 1st at approximately 8:00pm.
A 46 year old man was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on September 4th.
Andrew Earl Allison 34 has been arrested and charged with manslaughter, Trafficking a substance (powder cocaine), and Trafficking a substance (powder fentanyl).
It is alleged that the accused trafficked powdered fentanyl and powdered cocaine to the victim.
Douglas Hill, 48, has not been seen since the morning of June 24, and police say he was murdered, though police have yet to locate the body.
A 17 year old girl was arrested on July 12th, and is facing a charge of second degree murder. A 35 year old woman from Brantford has also been charged on one count of being an accessory to murder after the fact.
Police are asking for help from the public in locating Douglas Hill of Brantford. Hill has been described as follows:

– Long Dark Hair
– Thin Build
– A tattoo of a feather on his right cheek
Update: Police say four people are facing charges in the disapparance of Douglas Hill. Holly Martin, 35, of Brantford, and Lori Anne Staats, 24, of Six Nations are facing accessory after the fact charges. A 17 year old female is facing a second degree murder charge. Most recently Nicholas Joel Shipman, 34, of Ohsweken was arrested August 1st and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Brantford police responded to a call of a domestic disturbance in a townhouse complex on Sympatica Crescent at around 3am on February 6th.
Officers found John Liggins 44, suffering from a stab wound in the home. He was rushed to Brantford hospital where he died of his injuries.
Tara Lynn Koiter 32, the victim’s common law partner of 6 years, was arrested at the scene, and has since been charged with second degree murder.
