Body found in Mission identified as missing woman Chelsey Gauthier

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating the death on Chelsey Gauthier 22, after her body was found on August 16th. Police said the body was located in an isolated area near  Sylvester Road and Dale Road in Mission.

Chelsey Gauthier, a mother of two was reported missing on July 30th after last being seen on July 27th.

Cpl. Frank Jang of IHIT said the death is consistent with a homicide, however the cause of death has not been released.

Remains of Euarchol Wanichpan located at SJ Willis School in Victoria

The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit have confirmed that the body found at  SJ Willis School in Victoria on August 22 is that of Euarchol Wanichpan 25.

Euarchol Wanichpan. had been missing since July 31st. Police say that foul play is suspected in the death, but have not released the cause of death at this time.

Tanner Krupa 19 of Edmonton found dead in Surrey alleyway

Surrey police responded to report of an altercation in the area of 6900-block of 127A Street on August 20th at approximately 5am.

Tanner Krupa, 19, of Edmonton was found unresponsive in a back alleyway.  Krupa was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries that police said were consistent with a homicide.

Cpl. Frank Jang of IHIT said in a release that “The investigation is in its early stages and it is unknown if the incident was targeted,”.

Update: Abbotsford police identify latest homicide victim as Clarence John Crothers

BC Ambulance Service and Abbotsford Police were called to a suspicious circumstance at an apartment complex in the 33000 block of Braun Ave.

Police located the victim, Clarence John Crothers 62, inside one of the units. Crothers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death has not been released, investigators have only said the cause of death is consistent with a homicide.

Update August 15th
Jeffrey Charles Halicki 50 has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of Clarence John Crothers. Police said Halicki and Crothers were known to each-other, and that the homicide was not random.

Michael Page-Vincelli dies in hospital after being punched in a Starbucks

Police say they are investigating the death of Michael Page-Vincelli, 22,  as a homicide after an altercation involving a  cigarette butt.

It is alleged that on July 12th  a woman tossed a cigarette out the window of her car and Page-Vincelli picked it up and threw it back at her.

According to a witness, the woman and a man followed Page-Vincelli into a Starbucks where the victim was punched and then hit his head on a counter at the establishment.

Page-Vincelli was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on July 15th.

No charges have been laid at this time..

Jaspreet Sidhu shot to death in Abbotsford

Police found 18 year old Jaspreet Sidhu on Friday August 4th at approximately 3:20pm, after he was shot and crashed his car through a fence and into an Abbotsford woman’s home on in the 32000 block of Oriole Crescent.

Sidhu was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Police said they believe the shooting was targeted, and that Sidhu was affiliated with gang activity.

One male suspect seen fleeing the scene and has been described as 5’11”, medium build, black pants, black hood w/ hood up and sunglasses.

Bhavkiran Dhesi found murdered inside a burnt out vehicle

On August 2, at approximately 12:20am., Surrey RCMP and emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the 18700-block of 24th Avenue.

The body of Bhavkiran (Kiran) Dhesi, 19, was found in the vehicle after fire fighters extinguished the flames. Desi’s body had visible injuries consistent with homicide.

Miss Dhesi was last seen leaving the family home on Tuesday August 1 at 9pm. Police think the attack was targeted.

Man dead after shooting at a Kal Tire location in Chilliwack

Chilliwack RCMP were called to the 43000-block Progress Way at around 9am on July 21 on report of a possible shooting.

Police arrived at the scene to find a man suffering from life threatening injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injures.  Police believe the shooting was targeted.

The victim’s name will not be released until his net of kin is notified.

Update July 26
The victim has been identified as Calgary gangster Roland Chin 33. Police say Chin relocated to Chilliwack after being released from Calgary prison.

Police say there are over 90 persons of interest in the death of 13 year old Marrisa Shen

On July 18th at approximately 1am Burnaby RCMP responded to report of a missing 13 year old girl who had not been heard from since 5:00pm on the 17th.

Marrisa Shen was found by investigators in some brush on the southeast side of Central Park in Burnaby early Wednesday July 18th.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the death are suspicious and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken lead in the investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.

Update August 24th
Police said that they have more than 90 persons of interest involving the homicide investigation of Marissa Shen and are following up on nearly 200 tips.

Kewlona RCMP say Michael Madsen’s death are being treated as a homicide

Kewlona police were called to a home destroyed by fire in the 900 block of Stockwell Avenue on April 1st, 2017 after a body was found.

In a July 14th 2017 RCMP press release police stated that the body had been identified as 23 year old Michael Madson. Police have said  that Michael Madsen’s homicide was related to the drug trade and the organized crime element.
