Arun Bains, Surrey B.C’s latest homicide victim

A street-level drug trade in Surrey that has resulted in lots of shootings has claimed the life of Arun Bains,  and RCMP worry that retaliation may soon follow.

Twenty-two year old Arun Paul Singh Bains died April 19th, hours after shots were fired at 3 a.m.in Surrey.

The RCMP has not confirmed whether this latest shooting is connected to a recent violence between gangs, but they did say they believed this was a targeted shooting.

The rival gangs are of Somali and South Asian descent.

 

Paula Stiles death still unsolved

Strathcona County RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation of the homicide of Paula Stiles, 44, who was found dead in her home in Sherwood Park on the morning of April 15, 2015.

Jason Hall, Former Gangster, Shot And Killed In Prince George, B.C.

A 45-year-oldJason Alexander (Jay) Hall who once led the Renegades biker gang was gunned down March 22nd in Prince George. Hall was found lying on the corner of 5th Avenue and Gillett Street about 10:30 a.m.

He was rushed to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. but died later in the day from at least one gunshot wound.

Investigators are trying to locate a 2005 white Chevy Malibu believed to be involved in the murder. It’s a four-door with B.C. Licence Plate AK5 32P.

Hall had a lengthy criminal record both before and after the Renegades – a puppet club of the Hells Angels – folded about two years ago.

 

Vancouver police are investigating a deadly double stabbing on the Downtown Eastside.

Two men were found inside a hotel with stab wounds. A 24-year-old man died at the scene while a 37-year-old man was rushed to hospital where he later died on March 15th. The VPD’s Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Unit are investigating.

The motive for the double stabbing is unknown, according to VPD Sgt. Randy Fincham, who said a suspect has not been identified.

Both victims are known to police.

However there names have been released.

Daniel Paul arrested following death of girlfriend Rose Paul in East Vancouver.

On March 3, the body of 36 year-old Rose Paul was found in the basement suite of a home on East 22nd Avenue near Main Street.

The family of a murdered woman says her boyfriend Daniel Paul was arrested by Vancouver Police.

The body of Rose Paul, a mother of five, was found March 3 in the basement suite of a home on East 22nd Avenue in Vancouver. Now her sister, Candace Paul, says she got a call from police saying he was arrested by two female police officers a month later.

Thavone Carlson Charged With Trevor Johnson’s Stabbing Death In Abbotsford.

Abbotsford police said Trevor Johnson had been critically injured and someone dropped him off at the Abbotsford Hospital on Feb 19th. Just after midnight, Johnson died of his injuries.

20-year-old Thavone Junior Carlson of Abbotsford has now been charged with second-degree murder. He is set to appear in court on Monday, Feb. 23 in Abbotsford.

 

Lorne Melting-Tallow Vancouver’s second homicide of 2015.

A 49-year-old man with an extensive criminal record has been killed on the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver, marking the city’s second homicide of the year.

Around 4 a.m. on Wednesday Feb 11th, Lorne Melting-Tallow was found unresponsive and bleeding on the sidewalk on Hastings near Columbia Street. Melting-Tallow  was taken to the hospital but later died.

VPD Constable Brian Montague says it’s unclear how long the man may have been there.

The cause of death is not being revealed.

 

Roxanne Louie Dead: In-Laws Charged In Missing Woman’s Murder.

Roxanne Louie, who moved to Vancouver from Oliver, was visiting the south Okanagan for the holidays. A family member reported her missing after she missed her flight from Penticton back to Vancouver, said RCMP in a news release.

Louie, 26, was last seen leaving her mother-in-law’s home early on Jan. 4 on her way to meet some unknown friends.

Police confirmed Monday Jan. 12th that Grace Elinor Robotti, 65, has been charged with second-degree murder, and her brother, Pier Louis Robotti, 63, has been charged with being an accessory to murder and interfering with human remains.
