The body of Amanda Antoni 31, was found in her Castledale Way home in Calgary on October 26th by her husband Lee Antoni, who called 911.
The Calgary Police force’s cyber crimes unit is helping in the effort after Antoni was found dead.
“We know people are very active on social media and we’re looking at her background, people at work and in her private life,” said homicide Staff Sgt. Doug Andrus.
Antoni’s husband is not a suspect at this time.
Patricia Roach 54, was found dead in her north-west Edmonton home on October 24th. Police responded after Emergency Medical Services workers reported Roach’s death.
Police have declared that the manner of death is a homicide, the cause of death will not be released at this time for investigative purposes.
Police revealed January 20th that forensic evidence shows John Gearhart 37, responsible for killing Patricia Roach.
Two days before police had the forensic evidence to make the arrest, Gearhart was found dead in Spruce Grove. Police say his death was not suspicious.
Selamawit Alem 54, and Julie Tran 25, were stabbed to death in their home, and found by Calgary Police on Oct. 19. Police responded to a call to check on the welfare of the victim’s by a concerned friend.
Police believe that the bodies had been dead for 36 to 48 hours prior to their arrival.
Polie have a person of interest in custody.
Emanuel Kahsai 30, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the death of Alem, and second degree murder in the death of Julie Tran.
Christa Cachene 26, a mother of two was beaten to death, at a home on Ranchlands Bay On October 11th.
Police were called to the scene after reports of a Sudden death and are searching for Isaiah Riel Rider 18. Rider is described as an Aboriginal male, approximately 6’2″ tall, 155 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
Rider has been located by police after the stolen vehicle he was driving was stopped by a spike strip. Ryder is facing murder charges.

Update: April 21, 2017
Rider admitted in court to stomping on Cachene’s chest and head, after she had stabbed Rider with a small knife. Ryder was initially charged with second degree murder, but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter. His sentencing date will not be until October 2017.
On October 11th, Police found a badly injured Christopher Stephen Tooley in an alley in Calgary’s Beltline.
Paramedics were called, but declared the man dead at the scene.
The victim has not been identified, nor has the cause of death been released.
The homicide unit has now issued Canada wide warrants for Rory Martin Stevens, 42, for manslaughter and robbery.
Anyone with any information about Stevens whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
Joel Geddes, was shot to death outside a house on the 500 block of Evermeadow Rd. on October 7th. Police say it was not a random attack and that he lived in the area.
Joel Gary Geddes, 31, was a convicted killer with gang ties back in Winnipeg. An incident of road rage in June 2003, lead to the death of Morgan Trudeau, 18, who Geddes beat to death.
Police have no suspects at this time.
Police say Colleen Sillito, was fatally shot in the driveway of her home by her ex boyfriend Paul Joseph Jacob 54, who then killed himself.
Police were called to the house early on Oct. 2 by neighbors who heard gun shots. On arrival RCMP found both Sillito and Jacob dead on the driveway of Sillito’s Fort Saskatchewan home.
Jonathan Schmeika 34, was found dead between two vehicles in 2600 block of 43 St. S.E. in Calgary, early September 30th.
Police haven’t said how Schmeikal died but searches of the area turned up no evidence of gunfire witnesses claimed to media they had heard. However an autopsy determined Jonathan Joe Schmeikal in fact had died as a result of a gunshot.
Police believe Schmeikal was shot several hours before being placed at the scene.
Jerry Cody Goodeagle has been charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of Jonathan Joe Schmeikal on October 6th.
Emergency crews were called were called to a home in the block of Centre St. N.W. on Sept 30th to check on the welfare of a man inside. Upon arrival EMS found Frank Burton 56, suffering from “penetrating trauma”.
The victim was transported to hospital where he passed shortly after.
Police have not released the cause of death, or if it is in-fact a homicide.
Police are looking for a suspect who was wearing a grey hoodie at the time of the attack. He has darker skin, a stocky build and is approximately five feet 10 inches tall.
The victims Robert Farrow 47, and Karen Currie 56, died in a house fire side by side in Vulcan on September 29th.
The fire investigators have determined the fire to have been deliberately set and is deemed an arson. Police to believe that the person responsible for the arson, Robert Farrow, died in the fire.
