Abbotsford Police Department responded to a report of gunshots in the 30500-block of Steelhead Court on February 20th at around 9:30am.
Police arrived to find 23 year old Satkar Singh Sidhu suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life saving efforts by paramedics Sidhu died at the scene.
Three men were seen fleeing the scene and were eventually stopped with a spike belt in Mission.

Police were called to Abbotsford Senior Secondary School at around 2pm on November 1st on report of a stabbing.
Staff members held the suspect as others were administering first aid to two injured girls. The girls were rushed to hospital where one died of her injuries. The other girl remains in stable condition.
Police has the suspect in custody, his name and age have not been released. Police did say the suspect did not attend Abbotsford Senior Secondary School .

Update November 2
Gabriel Brandon Klein, 21, has been charged with second degree murder in the death of a 13 year old girl and aggravated assault in wounding the 14 year old girl. Police said that they believe the attack was random, and Mr. Klein doesn’t appear to have any connection to the victims.
The victim’s name has been released as Leitsha Reimer 13.
Abbotsford police received a report of shots fired on Crown Court August 17th at around 9pm. The man was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police believe the attack was targeted.
The IHIT (Integrated Homicide Investigation Team) reported on August 18th that the victim had been identified as Gurdev “Dave” Hair 45.
A man by the same name was wanted in a 2012 Kidnapping and torture of a 44 year old Mission BC man.
Guiseppe Zecca, 38, was found at around 11 pm on May 10th by a passerby on an Abbotsford road. Zecca was suffering from a head wound along with other life threatening injuries. Paramedicis attended to Zecca however he died at the scene.
Andre Provencal 23, was arrested on May 11, and charged with assault with a weapon. On May 14, police arrested Shiloh Davidson 31, and charged him with second-degree murder.
Police received a call about a deceased male just before 5 pm PT on May 3rd on a blueberry farm in rural Abbotsford. Boota Poonia and his wife found the body, Poonia said the deceased was covered in blood and apparently 3 or 4 small holes in the body.
The victim has not been identified, but is believed to be in his 30’s.
Police have not released any other information regarding this case.
One of the two men ages 21 and 22 shot in Abbotsford March 10th has died in hospital.
Police confirmed the victim had succumbed to his injuries.
His name has not been released. Police said the shooting was result of a Townline Hill gang conflict.
Police were called to the scene when a fourth-storey tenant complained to the building landlord about a horrid smell on February 23. The landlord knocked on the door but when she didn’t get a response she went in to find David Delaney 63, dead on his bed with no signs of trauma. She immediately called 911.
Abbotsford police are not releasing the cause of death at this time.
Shayne Daniel Duncan McGenn, 33, has been charged with the second degree murder of David Delaney.
A 74-year-old man who was standing outside on his driveway in Abbotsford, B.C. was killed in gunfire aimed at his neighbor’s home on September 2nd.
When Emergency crews arrived they pronounced the senior dead at the scene.
The investigation is being handled by the Integrated Homicide Investigation team.
Joe Zecca, 38, was found suffering from a head injury as well as other life-threatening injuries on May 10.

Abbotsford police said Trevor Johnson had been critically injured and someone dropped him off at the Abbotsford Hospital on Feb 19th. Just after midnight, Johnson died of his injuries.
20-year-old Thavone Junior Carlson of Abbotsford has now been charged with second-degree murder. He is set to appear in court on Monday, Feb. 23 in Abbotsford.
