Surrey stabbing victim Troy Clysdale dies of injuries

Surrey police were called to the scene of a stabbing on September 14th at around 2pm in the area of 135th Street and 108th Avenue.

Police found Troy Clysdale 49, and another man who were both suffering from stab wounds. Clysdale was in serious condition and was rushed to hospital where he died on September 15th. The other man is expected to survive.

Boni-Muhammed Mutawakel 20, was arrested feeling the scene and has been charged with aggravated assault.  RCMP have been consulting with the Crown Counsel on the charges being upgraded to homicide.
