An argument between siblings turns fatal in Calgary

Calgary police were called to the 0-100 block of Rundlehorn Terrace N.E., for reports of a man in medical distress on Thursday December 7th at approximately 1am.

Police and paramedics arrived at the scene to find a 29 year old man in serious condition. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Police say that it is alleged that siblings got into an argument where the younger brother received a fatal injury. Police arrested the victim’s 34 year old brother at the scene. Second degree murder charges are pending.

The name of the victim will be released once his next of kin is notified.

Wayne Runner, 34, is charged with one count of second-degree following an altercation that left his brother, Cory Runner, 29, deceased.
