RCMP treating Teresa Robinson’s death as homicide.

Manitoba RCMP is treating the death of Teresa Robinson as a homicide, not an animal attack. The 11 year-old Garden Hill First Nation girl’s body was discovered by community members after a search.

The girl was reported missing to police on May 11, but had disappeared after going to a birthday party in Garden Hill on May 5.

The RCMP says Teresa Casandra Robinson’s body had been “disturbed” by animals, they believe the cause of death was homicide.

After collecting voluntary DNA samples from men between the ages of 15 and 66, police have made an arrest in the murder of Teresa Robinson.

A 15 year old boy has been charged with the death of Teresa Robinson. The name of the accused has not been released.
