RCMP have declared the South Rawdon garage fire death a homicide

Emergency crews were called to a garage fire in South Rawdon Nova Scotia on April 3rd at around 9:15 am. on arrival the detached garage was fully engulfed, and two children were rescued from the adjacent home unharmed.

A 27 year old woman was found dead in the garage after the fire was extinguished. Police have not revealed the cause of death at this time.

RCMP announced on June 2nd that the death of the woman was a homicide.

Update July 27th
RCMP arrested Joshua Eric Crowell ,27, and charged him with second degree murder in relation to the death of Laura Ross 27.  RCMP said the victim and the Accused were known to eachother but did not disclose the relationship.
