Burns Lake RCMP received several calls on Thursday May 18th of a person believed to be deceased at the South Side of Francois Lake.

Police located the victim, Raymond George Bishop, 59, and he was pronounces dead at the scene. Bishop’s cause of death has not been released to the public at this time.

Albert Giesbrecht, 66, has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of Bishop.
