Ramsey Whitefish beaten to death in Toronto

Police responded to a 911 call of a disturbance on Yonge and Glocester street on May 18th at around midnight.

Police found Ramsey Whitefish suffering from obvious trauma. Whitefish was rushed to hospital where he died a short time after arrival. A rock the size of a bowling ball found at the scene is believed to be the murder weapon.

Whitefish lived in a rooming house near where he was found. Though he was found with a sleeping bag at the scene. Police were called to the rooming house where he lived 2 days before his death regarding a disturbance between Whitefish and his roommate.

Toronto police have charged Trevor Severin 24, with second degree murder in the death of Ramsey Whitefish, 42.
