Prince George assault turns into homicide investigation

Prince George RCMP were called to the area of Oak Street and Porter Avenue, on May 20th at around 2am on report of a disturbance.

A man and a woman were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries. The man died of his injuries at hospital, and the woman is expected to survive.

A male suspect was arrested near the scene. Police said the three were known to each other.

The suspect, Christopher Clarke Prince, 34, has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of the man on May 20th. Prince is known to police and according to princegeorgecitizen.com Prince had a violent past. Christopher Clarke Prince been charged with manslaughter in 2002, in relation the death of his half brother.
