Vancouver police are investigating after the discovery of woman’s body in a Granville Street Regal Hotel in downtown Vancouver.
VPD said they were called to the Regal Hotel on August 1st at approximately 4:30am on report of a strong odor coming from the second floor. Upon arrival police discovered a deceased 31-year-old woman in the room.
The identity of the deceased and the cause of death will not be released at this time.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call detectives are 604-717-2500.

Police have identified the victim as Chelsea Lynn De Forge, 31, of Vancouver.
