Palwinder Singh dies of a gunshot wound in Brampton – 2 teenagers charged

Peel police officers responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on Donwoods Court in the City of Brampton on July 16th at approximately 6:11pm.

On arrival police and paramedics found Palwinder Singh, 27, deceased.

Sean Ponto, 18, from Mississauga and Andrew Edward, 19, from Mississauga surrendered to police and have been charged with first degree murder.

Police are still searching for 2 men described as:
First suspect: male, medium complexion, early 20’s, short black curly hair, black beard, approximately 5’8”,  150lbs., wearing a light blue hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.

Second suspect: male is described as male black, dark complexion, clean shaven approximately 5’6”, 160 lbs., wearing a black hoodie, black bandana and sunglasses.

Update July 22
Police have identified a third person responsible for the murder of Palwinder Singh. A Canada Wide Arrest Warrant has been issued for the arrest of Nebill Albayaty, an 18-year-old male from the City of Toronto. Albayaty is wanted for first degree murder. He is described as male black, 5’9”, with a thin build.

Update July 24th

Nebill Albayaty was located by police and arrested at a Hamilton hotel along with the he fourth suspect.  Hamas Khan, 18, and Albayaty have both been charged with first-degree murder.
