A 45-year-oldJason Alexander (Jay) Hall who once led the Renegades biker gang was gunned down March 22nd in Prince George. Hall was found lying on the corner of 5th Avenue and Gillett Street about 10:30 a.m.
He was rushed to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. but died later in the day from at least one gunshot wound.
Investigators are trying to locate a 2005 white Chevy Malibu believed to be involved in the murder. It’s a four-door with B.C. Licence Plate AK5 32P.
Hall had a lengthy criminal record both before and after the Renegades – a puppet club of the Hells Angels – folded about two years ago.
Toronto police have arrested a second man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a teenager March 21st.
Corey Murray, 29, was arrested in Mississauga. He is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Trevor Seraphine. Seraphine was gunned down outside of an apartment building at 44 Willowridge Rd. in Toronto’s northwest on March 21.
Murray’s brother, 25-year-old Curtis Murray, was also apprehended and charged with first-degree murder.
A 72-year-old man who was found bleeding from the head in Etobicoke has died from his injuries and police say his death was a homicide.
Khee Hien Liem was found at an address on Lake Shore Boulevard, near Humber Bay Park Road at around 3 p.m. March 18th. He was semi-conscious and appeared to be suffering from a head wound, police said at the time.
Police said that Liem died of his injuries in hospital March 23rd.

In the early hours of March 18, police were called to the area of 16 Avenue and 5 Street N.E Calgary. after EMS reported a body was found by area residents.
Police say the victim, a 16-year-old girl, sustained trauma consistent with being struck by a vehicle. She was declared dead at the scene.
The accused, 70-year-old Stanislaw Maguder, was released on $10,000 bail. Conditions of Maguder’s release includes:
- A curfew which requires he remains in his home between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- He may only ride in a motor vehicle if the vehicle’s registered owner is present (public transit and hired taxi exluded)
Six young men are facing first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of Malcolm Marfo.
Police made the arrests during early morning raids on Thursday in the Dixon Road and Kipling Avenue area.
Marfo, 22, was gunned down on March 17.
Sharmarke Farah, 18, Ali Mohamed Isse, 21, Liban Hussein, 20, Mohamed Omar, 26, Saieed Hagi, 20, and a 17-year-old who can not be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act are each facing a charge of first-degree murder.
One more suspect, 21-year-old Hanad Farah is still wanted.
Heffernan was shot by a Calgary officer with 15 years policing experience the afternoon of March 16 at the Super 8 in the 3000 block of Barlow Tr. N.E.
Police at the time said they were called by hotel staff and tried to make contact through the space in a latched door before making the decision to enter the room, then inside were confronted with a “high-risk situation.”
Heffernan’s sister Natalie Iaquinta offered details of what she said the family has been told thus far by investigators.
Iaquinta said the ordeal started when her brother failed to check out in the midst of his relapse into drug addiction.
She said five officers broke down the door and Heffernan stood and raised his hands — in one was a lighter and in the other was a syringe.
Mary Caitlin Walton’s body was found dead in her Victoria home on March 14th by Victoria police. Her cause of death still has not been released.
Four hours earlier police responded to an attempted suicide, 51-year-old Daniel Blake Penney was found unconscious on a property he co-owned with Walton in Colwood, B.C. Police found a man inside a car in a garage with the engine running and the doors shut.
Mary Caitlin Walton’s estranged husband Daniel Blake Penney has now been charged with her murder.
Two men were found inside a hotel with stab wounds. A 24-year-old man died at the scene while a 37-year-old man was rushed to hospital where he later died on March 15th. The VPD’s Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Unit are investigating.
The motive for the double stabbing is unknown, according to VPD Sgt. Randy Fincham, who said a suspect has not been identified.
Both victims are known to police.
However there names have been released.
A 28-year-old man has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Rocky Genereaux.
Genereaux, 42, was found with serious injuries in a house on the 400 block of Avenue on March 12. He died later in hospital.
Michael James Robertson is a known member of the Indian Posse. At the time of Genereaux’s murder, Robertson was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of parole.
Robertson was, along with co-accused Nicole Paddy. She has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Police responded to reports of a shooting on March 9th in Edmonton. Police found Mohamed Ahmed Adam 33, whose body was found in an alley behind a local restaurant.
Police have confirmed that Adam died of gunshot wounds.
