Coquitlam RCMP were called to the North Fraser Pre-Trial holdings after an inmate was severely beaten on April 17th by his cellmate.

Neil Leslie was send to hospital where he died on April 22.

Leslie’s cellmate Zachariah Pakarinen, 27, has been charged with manslaughter in the beating death.
