Moncton Man Charged With First Degree Murder of Missing Woman Candice Kennedy-Faguy

Police said Kennedy-Faguy, 35, was reported missing to police on September 23, and her body was found on September 26th on West Lane in Moncton. Police have not released the cause of death or if Kennedy-Faguy was inside or outside of the building.

RCMP’s Major Crime Unit arrested a 44-year-old Claude Blanchard of Moncton, on the evening of September 27, and charged him with First-Degree Murder. Blanchard remains in custody and is scheduled to return to Moncton Provincial Court on October 19, 2018, at 9:30 a.m..
