Police were called home on Ponsard Ave in Brossard on May 7th on report of a shooting. Marchi-Karzazi Ader 28 was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the backyard and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching for Akiem-Jamell Heath of Brossard in relation to the homicide of Ader. Heath is described as 6’1″, 175 lb, dark skin, short black hair, brown eyes, and a van dyke beard.

Heath should not be approached, anyone who may come is contact with him is asked to call 9-1-1 or police at 1-800-659-4264

Update May 22nd
Akiem Heath 30 was arrested by Niagara Falls police without incident on Friday May 19th at a Niagara Falls Motel. Heath has been turned over to Quebec police and is facing a charge of second degree murder.
