Update: Manhunt for homicide suspect Sheldon Thunderblanket continues

RCMP responded to report of shots fired on October 10th just before midnight on Little Pine First Nation.

Police arrived to the home on the reserve and found two injured people, one was pronounced dead and the other was sent to hospital with serious injuries.

The manhunt continues to locate the suspect, Sheldon Thunderblanket 40. Police described him as five feet, six inches tall, weighs 209 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Police believe the suspect who opened opened fire on a female police officer officer on October 11th at a Trans-Canada Highway traffic stop may also be Thunderblanket.

Update October 12th

Sheldon Thunderblanket, wanted in the fatal shooting death of his ex-girlfriend Tami Frank, was found dead east of Revelstoke. No other information is available at this time.
