Police were called to the  mid-town intersection of Yonge and Eglinton on June 7th on report of a shooting. Police found a Sukhvir Deo 34 dead in his vehicle in the back alley. Deo died soon after police arrival.

Toronto police are looking for two men who fled in a dark colour car. The suspects were both wearing construction vests.

The province’s anti-gang police agency has stated that Deo has ties to BC gang “Independent Soldiers gang”. Deo has also been charged with trafficking drugs in Halton region where he lives in a luxury home located in Oakville.
