UPDATE: Brad MacDonald found dead at Highway off ramp in Edmonton

Edmonton Police were called to the Stony Plain Road and Winterburn Road area on March 10th at around 8am on reports of a body in the grass median on the highway.

Police said the man had suffered serious head trauma, but did not elaborate.  Police were also looking into tire tracks leading to and away from the body, but added that the tire tracks may have nothing to do with the investigation.

The victim’s name has not been released at this time. The death is being treated as a homicides until autopsy can prove otherwise.

**UPDATE**

April 11 The victim has been identified as Brad MacDonald 37, of Nova Scotia. Autopsy confirmed that MacDonal died of blunt force trauma to the head.

**UPDATE** September 7th

Edmonton Police have issued a Canada Wide Warrant for the arrest of Austin Mackenzie Southworth 26. He is described as a white male, green eyes, approximate height of 5’7” and a slim build.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Austin Mackenzie Southworth is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 .

Austin Southworth turned himself into Campbell River authorities  on Vancouver Island at around 11am on September 10th.
