Moncton Police were called to the motel on Elmwood Drive at about 2:30 pm on January 24th on report of an altercation in the parking lot.
Sgt. Mario Fortin said when police arrived the fight was over, however they found a vehicle near by that had crashed into a telephone pole. Inside the vehicle officers found a man suffering from a severe stab wound.
The man was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.
The victims was later identified as Rodney Perry 47.
Update January 27th
Jesse James Perry-Belliveau 25, of Moncton and Kimberly Cormier 45, of Moncton have both been charged with second degree murder in the death of Rodney Perry 47.
