Jovane Clarke dies after being shot in Sheridan Mall

Toronto police were called to Sheridan Mall in North York on August 31st at 5:30 pm on report of a shooting.

Police and Paramedics found the victim, 22 year old Jovane Clarke with “obvious signs of trauma”. Despite life saving efforts Clarke was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Sergeant Mike Carbone said shortly after Clarke arrived to the mall, he was approached by four individuals. Carbon said “at least two of the individuals commenced shooting and chasing the deceased north, towards one of the mall entrances. At this point, only one of two of these individuals chase the deceased into the mall.”

Police are looking for 4 suspects:
Three of the suspects are male, black, wearing all dark, and masks. The fourth suspect was wearing dark clothing w/ hoody, white sneakers, and face covered up.
