Guy Therrin was out on full parole when he was fatally shot in Montreal

Montreal police responded to report of a shooting on August 23rd at approximately 8:25pm that took place in a Lafrenaie St. warehouse.

Police arrived to find a 21-year-old man suffering from upper body injuries and 53-year-old Guy Therrien, who was pronounced at the scene. The 21-year-old is in stable condition.

Police arrested a 44-year-old male suspect in Napierville on August 24th. He is being questioned by homicide detectives.

Both victims are known to police. Therrien was serving parole for a 70-month sentence he received in 2014 after he pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine for the purposes of trafficking.
