Peel Regional Police say officers responded to a “sudden death” call at a highrise on Kennedy Rd. S., in Brampton, on August 14th.

Upon arrival officers found 44 year old Galina Alexander dead with obvious signs of trauma.

Police determined that the sudden death was a murder and arrested Alexander’s 23 year old son  Hassan Salifu.

**Police would like to speak to anyone who knew either Alexander or her son, or who may have seen or heard anything prior to or after Saturday’s incident.
