Edmonton’s 14th homicide: Toddler Anthony Joseph Raine found dead near an Edmonton Church

Edmonton police were called to the area of 55 Avenue and Castledowns Road on April 21 at around 2:30 pm after a passerby reported a deceased child near The Good Shepard Church.

Police said the 17 month old  boy, Anthony Joseph Raine’s body was there three days before being located. An autopsy is scheduled for April 24th.

Joey Crier, 26, the father of the boy, and Tasha Mack, who is 25, have been charged with second degree murder, criminal negligence causing death, failing to provide necessities of life, and assault. Crier is also charged with assault causing bodily harm in the death of Anthony Raine.
