Dustin Wayne Monture, 27, was taken to West Haldimand General Hospital by the homeowner, after being found outside a home on Tuscarora Road in Ohsweken on February 21st at around 4 pm.
The homeowner thought he had been assaulted because of the head wound. Monture was then airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital where he had a CT scan and they discovered he had been shot.
Monture was declared brain dead at around 2:15 on February 22 and died of his injuries that same night.
