The body of Clayton Mawakeesic 38 was found in the  Neebing/McIntyre Floodway on July 29th.  Police said that Mawakeesic had been involved in an altercation the previous night on the shores of the floodway with the accused.

Lawrence Beardy 34 has been charged with manslaughter in the death of Mawakeesic.
