Raddatz, 42, fired over 50 bullets from inside his southwest Edmonton home on June 8th, killing Const. Daniel Woodall and wounding another officer. After the shooting, flames engulfed the home, burning the house to the ground. A body believed to be that of Raddatz was found in the basement.
Officers had gone to Raddatz’s home in west Edmonton on June 8th to arrest him on an outstanding warrant for a bylaw offence.
Robbery gone wrong ends in the death of Elmer Kakewash. Kakewash, 29, was stabbed after an altercation with a group of people on June 4 at 3am.
Police said the stabbing was determined to be in self defence, as the victim was in the process of robbing someone at the time.
The case is now considered closed, according to police.
Edwin Shek-Yin Cheng 42, of Richmond was shot dead in the parking lot of Richmond’s Nanaksar Gurdwara Gursikh Temple in Richmond B.C. on June 5th.
Police believe this to be a targeted attack and have no suspects at this time.
June 4th Edmonton police were called to the Central McDougall neighbourhood, where Claudia Mary Iron-Howard was found in life-threatening condition after being assaulted. Howard was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, where she died.
An Autopsy Claudia Mary Iron-Howard, 29, died from a stab wound to the chest, and her death has been deemed a homicide.
Shawn Richard had been identified as the “primary suspect” in the murder of Claudia Iron-Howard. Police had developed enough evidence charge Mr. Richard, with the death of Claudia Mary Iron-Howard, however Richard was murdered on August 31, 2015.
Police say they now consider the case concluded.
32 year-old Amir Hayat Malik died from blood loss caused by severe trauma to his body. Malik was found dead in an alley way in downtown Windsor June 4th.
Police say detectives were able to find and arrest Colin Chrisjohn 24, after an investigation.
Ryan Delve 43, was a former tattoo artist and an ex-addict who was living at the Drop-In Centre and was one of the people responsible for the colourful mural painted on 4th Street S.E., just steps away from where his body was found.
On June 4, 2015, police were called to the pathway under the 5 Avenue Flyover bridge in Calgary’s east village. Delve was found deceased at the location.

The youth was arrested at Punnichy provincial court during an appearance on an unrelated matter.
The youth is charged in the death of Clayton Charles Cyr of the Gordon First Nation.
Cyr, was found dead in the shed of a home in Punnichy on June 3.
RCMP say the youth and the victim knew each other.
Cause of death has not been released.
Julien Levasseur has been charged with second degree murder in connection with an the random attack that left Charan Kaur Dhandwar dead inNew Westminster, B.C.on June 3rd.
79-year-old Charan Kaur Dhandwar, was out for an evening walk after having visited a friend when she was attacked by Julien Levasseur.
Police did not say how her injuries were caused.
22-year-old Hasadinn Plain, has been charged with murdering his 12-year-old brother inside a downtown Toronto hotel, On June 3rd.
Officers discovered the boy while responding to a stabbing call at Cambridge Suites Hotel.
Daniel Plain, was rushed to nearby St. Mike’s hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Little has been released regarding the circumstances of the murder.
A 17-year-old has been charged with second degree murder June 2nd following the lunch-hour stabbing of Brett Bourne, 17 in Winnipeg.
Brett Bourne is the former Kelvin student rushed to hospital after a fight over “relationship issues” at the school turned into a stabbing.
Bourne was pronounced dead in hospital.
