Police were called to an incident on September 24th where they found Madad Kenyi 53 year-old male of no fixed address. The victim was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Nathan Bell of no fixed address has been charged with second-degree murder. Brian Nelson of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Gary Hoffman, turned himself in on September 27th has also been charged with second-degree murder.
Andrew Ramdass, 31, of no fixed address, has been charged with aggravated assault and Emmanuel Blowes-Serrata is maintaining his innocence.
September 23th Police received a call about a man who was in distress. Upon arrival officers realized the man Edwidge Jacques 25, had been stabbed several times.
He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
This death marks Montreal’s 21st homicide of 2015.
Brian Ralph Beglau was charged in the death of his estranged wife Melanie Susan Hunter, 55. Police said the two were married, but living away from each other at the time of the murder.
Hunter’s body was found by police responding to a security alarm at her home northeast Sherwood Park on September 22.
Beglau was arrested at the scene.
30 year old Fernley Edmund was found by police with a life threatening stab wounds to his chest in a car in Scarborough on September 22. Edmund was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuires.
Police arrested Reg Spring, 31 on September 23 when he surrendered himself to police. Spring has been charged with second degree murder.
Anastasia Kuzyk, Nathalie Warmerdam & Carol Culleton were slain in separate incidents across Eastern Ontario near the town of Wilno ON, on September 22.
The deaths were an “absolute slaughter” said Carl Bromwich, a local councillor who lives in Wilno.
Basil Joseph Borutski was arrested after a five-hour manhunt and charged with three counts of first degree murder.
Kuzyk and Warmerdam had previously been in relationships with Borutski.
The death of an 81-year-old man at a Halifax continuing care facility is being treated as a homicide.
Halifax Police say the un-named man, died Sept 21 in the evening. The 71-year-old man who pushed the elderly victim, causing him to fall, and later die from his injury will not be charged because he has a cognitive impairment.
Oakville Officers responded to a 911 call on Sept 21, where they found 62-year-old Judith Wilson. First responders tried to resuscitate, however the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The caller, Ryan Porte the victim’s 39-year-old son, remained in the home during the investigation, and has since been arrested and charged with second degree murder in the manual strangulation death of his mother.
On the morning of Sept 19th Police found the body of 29-year-old Matthew James Flitton deceased in his Lethbridge home.
Randall William Enright who was arrested that same day, has been charged with one count of second degree murder.
Isaiah Clachar, 17, was stabbed to death Sept 20th in a fight that escalated quickly outside a High-rise building next to the building where another teen had been murdered in April.
Keanu Croteau, 18, and Mohamad Hamade, 25, of Ottawa, have been charged with one count each of second-degree murder and attempted murder.
On the morning of September 22, Taber police found the body of Silas Kiseyinewakup 36, unresponsive next to a farm where he worked.
The cause of death has not been released however Stacey Charles Wahpistikwan 38, of Big Island Cree Nation, has been charged with second-degree murder and indignity to a body.
Police said the two knew each-other and this was not a random attack.
