Calgary police responded to a report from a passerby of a deceased male in the back alley of a home. Police arrived to find Calvin Brooker 57, dead in the alley, behind the house he shared with his 98 year old mother and another man.

Police have not released the cause of death, however they believe Brooker was killed inside the home and moved to the alley.

Calgary police said, after a lengthy forensic investigation Dennis Jan Sorge of Terrace, B.C., has been  charged with second degree murder in relation to Brooker’s death.
