Irfan Ahmed Qureshi and Suzanne Marie Tran found dead in vacant home

Police were called to a vacant house near 49 Avenue and 213 Street aon March 23 in Edmonton, on reports of dead bodies. A Relator was there to show the house at around 2pm when they found two dead.

The victim’s were identified as Irfan Ahmed Qureshi 37, and Suzanne Marie Tran 27. Autopsy revealed that both died from gunshot wounds.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477

65 year old Eleanor Campbell dies after being run over by her daughter

Michelle Campbell 43 has been charged with second degree murder after police allege she intentionally ran down her mother in a furniture store parking lot and then fled the scene.

On March 22, Eleanor Campbell 65, was fatally hit by her daughters vehicle in a Toronto Leon’s parking lot just moments after she stepped out of the vehicle with her walker.

Police say Eleanor Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene.

20 year old Josiah Haye fatally shot in Scarborough

Josiah Haye 20, has been identified as the victim of the fatal Scarborough shooting that happened on March 20th at around 6:30 pm.

Police responded to a call of shots fired on Glendower Circuit in Scarborough. On arrival they found Haye suffering from a gunshot wound. Haye was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Yannick Larose gunned down in broad daylight

Police are searching for two suspects after Yannick Larose was gunned down at 10:45 am on March 21 in Terrebonne.

The shooting took place in the parking lot of a plaza where it has been said that Larose 42, was fleeing from the suspects and tried to enter a store in the plaza. The suspects were wearing ski masks.

Larose was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police believe the homicide may be linked to organized crime.

Jamiee Lee Miller’s remains found in woods

Jamiee Lee Miller of Barrie, was last heard from on October 12th via text message, and was reported missing by her family November 2, 2015.

On March 16th 2016 a person discovered the remains while walking their dog in the woods in Springwater Township. The remains were sent to the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Services in Toronto where they were determined to belong to 30 year old Jamiee Lee Miller.

Police are treating the investigation as a homicide based on the findings from the Coroner’s office.

Peizheng Qiu charged after a dismembered body was found in a home

Police started the investigation in the early evening of March 20th after two men alerted police a that a murder had taken place at a Thornhill home.

Police removed several body bags from the house. Police said there was only one victim, however multiple body bags were used because the body was dismembered.

Neighbors said the house was under construction and nobody lived at the residence.

Peizheng Qui 28 was taken into custody and has been charged with first degree murder and indecent interference with a dead body.

The name of the victim will not be released until next of kin has been notified.

Sukhvir Badhesa charged with the murder of a 61 year old woman

RCMP were called to a residence on 128A Street in Surrey, March 20th after reports of an altercation. On arrival they found two injured women, a 35 year old woman suffering non life threatening injuries and a 61 year old woman who died at the scene.

Sukhvir Badhesa 39, who is related to both of the women has been charged with second degree murder, aggravated assault and uttering threats.

Cause of death has not been released.

Perry Robert Bois found unconscious at a Thunder Bay Motel

Perry Robert Bois 38, from Eabametoong First Nation, was visiting Thunder Bay and staying at the Victoria Inn.  Police were called when Bois was found unconscious in the hallway of the Inn on March 19th at around 1:30am.

Bois was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Pauline Kay Cutfeet 33, from Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation has been charged with second degree murder.

The cause of death has not been released at this time.
