Hamilton Police were called to a home on Birge Street, one block from the Hamilton General Hospital on January 24th. Police and paramedics found the 31 year old Richard Cowder outside on the sidewalk, suffering from a serious stab wound.
The victim was transported to hospital where he passed away a short time after.
Police are awaiting a search warrant to gather more information in this investigation.

Police have released some detail about the suspect and ask for the publics help. The man has been described as aboriginal or having a tanned complexion, in his 30s, 5’9″ – 5’10”, slim build with short dark hair. He arrived at the residence on a bicycle which he fled on after the incident.
Adedotun Agunbiade 28, was shot dead at a Scarborough hair salon party at 4:20 am, on January 24th.
Police were called to the scene where paramedics found Agunbiade with multiple gunshot wounds. Agunbiade was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not named any suspects at this time.
RCMP are looking for a suspect in an stabbing that left a 30 year old man dead on January 22 in Kamloops.
Staff of Hatsuki Sushi on Tranquille Rd called 911 after the victim, who was bleeding came in and collapsed on the ground near the reception.
The Suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
Police have not released the name of the victim at this time.
RCMP was alerted by EMS who attended a home on January 22nd to assist in a call of medical distress and found Wilfred Junior Amos of Morley. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gavin Bearhead 30, has been charged with one count of manslaughter. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on February 2nd in Cochrane.
The cause of death has not been released at this time.
Hamilton Police responded to a 911 call at the Admiral Inn around 2:30 a.m on January 23 where they found the body of Tammy Le 25, of Markham in a guest room.
Little information has been released reading this homicide at this time.

It was Tammy Le’s husband who found her dead in the hotel room. Police say Le’s husband was out of the room for a period of time, and stress that he is not a suspect. Police aren’t releasing the cause of death or how the killer got into the room at this time.
The body of Terry Moore 30, the man suspected of killing Tammy Le, suspected sex worker, was found hanging from a tree Monday morning behind the parking lot at Vanier secondary school around 2 km from the murder scene.
On January 27th Hamilton police said Tammy Le died of external neck compression.
Police are looking for the Good Samaritan who found Moore’s wallet on the night of the homicide. Hamilton Police are also looking for the victim and the suspects cellphones and believe they may be in the area around the Admiral Inn, the ravine or Vanier school.
Two teachers and two teenagers were gunned down January 23 in La Loche. A 17 year boy old is in custody facing four charges of first degree murder.
Brothers Dayne and Drayden Fontaine, aged 17 and 13, were found shot their home. Marie Janvier 21, daughter of the acting mayor worked as a T.A in the high school, died when the shooter entered the school and opened fire. Teacher Adam Wood 35, was also shot and died in the health centre.
Many others were wounded in the shooting. The nightmare lasted 15 minutes before RCMP officers arrived and were able to subdue the teen shooter.
Police responded to a call of gunshots around 4 a.m on January 19th to the area of Lake Shore Blvd. and 11th St in Etobicoke.
Tevin James, 22, was shot in the stomach, and was rushed to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Frederick Leon, 20, was arrested Thursday and charged with charged with 35 counts, including aggravated assault, robbery, 28 firearm and weapons-related charges, and five drug-related charges. Since James died in Hospital, Leon also faces a second degree murder charge as of January 22.
Homicide detectives are investigating after a 51 year old man Sebastiano Sinisi was found unconscious and suffering from some trauma in a Brampton industrial park on January 22nd.
The man was rushed to hospital where he died later that night.
Police are expected to release more details soon. They have not yet revealed the identity of the victim, or the cause of death.
On Friday January 29th, police arrested Doru Robas 53, and charged him with one count of first-degree murder.
Halifax Police have identified the victim of the January 21st homicide as Frank John Lampe 58.
Police were called to a report of a disturbance at a Harlington Crescent apartment building where they found Lamp dead in the hallway.
Police took 20 year old Elias Lampe into custody and is facing a second degree murder charge.
On January 20th around 6:30 pm, Police received a call of a disturbance in the Kingsway and Princess Margaret Blvd area.
Police found 42 year old Alfredo Patriarca was pronounced dead at the scene. Patriarca was shot and killed inside the garage of an Etobicoke home.

Patriarca was one of two people shot while watching the Euro Cup in Toronto’s Little Italy in 2012. Patriarca was sitting with John Raposo who was shot five times in the head and died from his injuries.
