73-year-old Yosuke Hayahara, pushed in front of a subway train in Toronto’s 43rd homicide of 2018

Toronto police responded to a call of See Ambulance on the eastbound platform of Bloor subway station, on June 18th at approximately 10:20am.

73-year-old Yosuke Hayahara was found underneath the subway train, suffering from serious injuries. Hayahara was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Toronto police arrested John Reszetnik, 57, of Toronto, and charged wim with First-Degree-Murder for allegedly pushing Hayahara and causing him to fall onto the tracks at the station.
