Terrace RCMP responded to reports of a woman screaming  “call 911” in the 4500-block of Scott Avenue on August 2nd at 1:30pm.

Police arrived at the scene to find a 33-year-old woman outside of the home suffering from serious injuries, and a 59-year-old woman deceased in the home.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested at the scene. Police said the victims and the accused were known to each other but didn’t elaborate on their relationship.

Update August 16th
Police have identified the victim as 59-year old Nancy Morgan. Mila-Ann J. Watts, 30, has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of Morgan, and attempted murder of another woman at the time of the incident.
